נָגְדָּא, נַגְ׳, נוּגְ׳m. (נְגַד) 1) prolongation, length, distance. Targ. Ps. 21:5 (ed. Lag. נִיגְ׳ h. text ארך). Targ. Prov. 3:16 (ed. Lag. נוּגְרָא q. v.); a. fr.Gen. R. s. 11 לנ׳ את נגיד לי thou leadest me to a distant place; i. e. thy evidence is far off. 2) (lead,) path, pass.Pl. נָגְדִּין, נַגְ׳. Targ. Is. 41:18; a. e.Targ. Y.
